Kateřina Lišková discussed changing accents in women’s reproductive health and intimate lives over the forty years of state socialism. The lecture highlighted how socioeconomic arrangements influence gender and sexuality, how change occurs propelled by expertise, and how every social system inadvertently produces unintended consequences that open up new possibilities for people to live their lives.
