Natalia Jarska, Annina Gagyiova presented papers in a panel "Socialist childhoods and psy-expertise. East-Central Europe between the 1950s and 1980s," which analyzed the influence psychology gained over the expertise on childhood in East-Central Europe since the turn of the 1950s/60s and how it developed over time. Starting from a specific context of a given country – Poland, Hungary, or Czechoslovakia – each paper explored the psy-expertise from a comparative perspective within the socialist context and in transnational knowledge circulation.

José L.A. López Barajas presented a paper in a panel "Socialist internationalism in science and scholarship: De-centring perspectives from Central Europe", which discusses various forms of scholarly internationalism from the Eastern Bloc as oscillating between socialist integration and search for independence.
